Flexible drill made from tungsten carbide for various applications
CrazyDrill Flex is a solid carbide drill with the flexibility of an HSS drill but with the precision and wear resistance typical for a tungsten carbide drill. With its three versions, the drill can be used for all materials, even for plexiglass and thermoplastics. It is used predominantly in the watchmaking industry, medical technology, fuel injection technology, mold-making industry (ventilation bores, holes for start of wire EDM instead of countersink EDM) and other demanding applications.
CrazyDrill Flex Steel is mainly designed for steels, cast iron, aluminum alloys, brass and bronze, CrazyDrill Flex Titanium with its special cutting geometry for long chipping materials as titanium and copper. CrazyDrill Flex SST-Inox, on the other hand, with its digressive flute geometry is especially designed for stainless, acid and heat resistant materials and brass lead-free.
This helps to perform drilling operations considerably faster and in a more process-reliable manner in the watchmaking and jewelry, medical and aerospace industry.
